The students in Digital Citizenship are learning to type.  They use a program called Edutyping.  If you click on the links page you can go directly to this Internet site.

 

The students will be assigned Course Lessons.  With these, the students will learn and practice where the letters are located on the keyboard.  Usually 1-3 letters are introduced with every two assignments.  The program will instruct the student what finger they should use when typing.  IT IS VERY IMPORTANT THAT THE STUDENT PRACTICE CORRECTLY.

 

Once the student has completed several course lessons they will be assigned Reinforcement Lessons.  This will give them more practice.

 

The students are allowed to work on these assignments in class, during enrichment, before school (7:45-8:15) as well as at home.  If the student misses, they are still expected to have the work completed.
